Today Officer Amy from the Highland Park Police Department visited our classroom. She gave us some great reminders on how to be respectful, safe, and responsible with our Chromebooks and when using the internet. Today your child will be bringing home 3 contracts. One is from the district, one is from our classroom, and the last is on internet safety from the police department. Students and parents need to sign all 3 contracts and return them to school. This is the final step for students to prove that they are responsible enough to bring their Chromebooks home. Students that have returned the contracts and have insurance will be allowed to bring their Chromebook home on FRIDAY! Just a reminder that students will need to bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school each day. They will not be allowed to call home if they forget it or charge it at school if it is uncharged.
The third grade presentation will be in the library tonight.

A NOTE FROM MS. LEE...
ART CAN GET MESSY
If your child is concerned about their clothes, please have them bring a smock to school. Some examples are an old large t-shirt, and old button-down shirt, or a School Smart full protection vinyl smock. Students should try to avoid wearing their best clothes and shoes on the day they have art.
