Math: We completed several problem strings this week to help us look for and use patterns when solving multiplication facts. We also color-coded a multiplication chart to work on vocabulary connected to different fact strands. We ended the week by creating our own graphs and taking the Unit 2 Post- Assessment.
Writing: We celebrated Halloween by writing spooky stories for each other. Students then read these to the class this week. Some students even read with flashlights to make it even spookier! We also did some work with our informational pieces and fined tuned our table of contents and making sure we are organizing our text logically.
Social Studies: We continue to work on the brochures that focus on the physical geography, climate, and natural resources.
Science: Students continue to learn about motion, movement and matter. I hope you were able to see the Seesaw update with the pictures of the students flying their twirly birds!
